National Defense

As a 30-year veteran of the Ohio Army National Guard and a graduate of the Army War College, I know that when America leads, the world is a safer place. Amid the emergence of new threats at home and overseas, we must strengthen our position in the global community.

We have the best military in the world, but they need the tools and support to complete their missions and keep us safe. In the years ahead, we must rebuild our military infrastructure and have clear strategies to defeat ISIS and to stand up to aggressions of unfriendly foreign countries.

Moreover, it is our moral duty to ensure that when our veterans return home, they get the support, services and respect that are worthy of their sacrifice.
